Since people have been replying to this post a lot, I will give an update! So after a lot of work, here's how I managed to get it working: 1: I went onto a web browser version of the ps store and logged in. This miraculously gave me the ability to buy a trial version. 2: I loaded up the newly downloaded trial version on my actual ps5 and it gave me an option to buy the real thing pretty much immediately. 3: I bought the real thing! If anyone has solved it a different method, please respond here so we can hopefully help people. Also I will try and respond to everyone if they are still having trouble, just start a chat with me

What if I already bought it but can't download it? It even says "installed" but it isn't.

I have the same issue. I originally had it on disk on ps4 and when I transferred all my games on the ps5, it now showed locked on it and no way to purchase. I have digital so I can't use the disk from ps4. If anyone can help us plz let us know. Thx

Any luck with this yet? I'm trying to get it on the PS5 as well but it's showing the locked symbol and not letting me download. Based on what I'm reading some people are getting it to work fine but I'm still unsure if it's actually available on PS5 or not?

I had to go to my PS4 and download it first then when I switched to me PS5 it was in the game library able to download

Also gone through the PlayStation app, but when I try to checkout it says there is an error. Doesn't show up when I search by alphabetical order either. My PS5 has been amazing, apart from this. TIA!

Try turning the console and the internet off, then try again.

Stuff like that happened to me a few times on my PS4.

I know this is old but I was having the same issue, turns out it needed to be downloaded from the account that originally bought it.

I could download it but also got to the add to wishlist. At first I went to my library and clicked it. I could download it. Clicking the 3 dots and viewing the ps4 version showed the add to wishlist.

Try checking your game library. It should give you the download from there. I suspect the wishlist is a place holder for a ps5 version.

The ps app also gives the sign in error for me with any game.
